Vietnam
I am a chronic traveller. You might find me in the cockpit of a sea kayak, hiking a backcountry trail, riding a wave, cycling single-track or riding a motorcycle on another adventure.
Late October/early November, 2016: I had the pleasure of traveling for three weeks with Judith and Calypso. We landed in Hanoi and made our way south to Ninh Binh, Hue, Jungle Beach (north of Nha Trang) and Cam Ranh. Next stop was Bac Ha in the far north for the colourful H'mong market and a wonderful homestay. The weather was not the finest as it was the start of the monsoon season, but we made the best of it, exposing our three year old daughter to her first "backpacker" experience. Calypso was a trooper, demonstrating that she inherited some of her parents' wanderlust genes.
